U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers have released the 2010 Best Law Firms rankings, marking the inaugural publication of this highly- anticipated annual analysis. Wall Esleeck Babcock, LLP, based in Winston-Salem, was ranked among the first tier Winston-Salem/Greensboro firms in the areas of corporate, health care and mergers & acquisitions law.

Michael L. Drye has joined the law firm of Wall Esleeck Babcock LLP in Winston-Salem as a partner. His practice focuses on business transactions, corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contract matters and general corporate law.

John Babcock, a partner at the law firm of Wall Esleeck Babcock LLP in Winston‐Salem, has been named the North Carolina Youth Soccer Girls Challenge Coach of the Year. The award was presented by the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association, which is based in Greensboro.

Karen Wilson has joined the law firm of Wall Esleeck Babcock LLP in Winston‐Salem as a partner. Her practice focuses on estate planning, estate administration, corporate and tax law. Wilson also is a Certified Public Accountant.

Published since 1983, The Best Lawyers in America is widely regarded as the preeminent referral guide to the legal profession in the United States.

Jim Wall, a partner at the law firm of Wall Esleeck Babcock LLP in Winston-Salem, served as co-planner for the recent Continuing Legal Education course presented by the North Carolina Bar Association. Wall worked on the health law section’s annual seminar, which was presented at the North Carolina Bar Association’s Health Law Section annual meeting in Cary on April 23.
